Calling all shy dogs near Prospect Park!

Hi all,

My chihuahua mix, Batman, is a great guy, but he's too shy to play with "friendly" dogs. So we're looking for another shy or quiet dog to walk/socialize with. It could be a great, non-threatening opportunity for doggie socialization! We live near Prospect Park.

    Ok, do you have any pics of Batman on Flickr or Photobucket? Or are they just on your computer? If you upload them to Flickr it's really easy to post pics, I can walk you through it if you want. Batman is so cute!

    My pooch Wanda, a doxie, is very shy. She prefers to sniff trees and shrubs than socialize with other dogs or even people. We take her to Mount Prospect Park every morning around 7/730 and again at night around 7/730. In the morning they have off-leash hours and lots of pups that never quite seem to socialize. Perhaps try meeting up with us and the other 'stay to themselves' pets and owners in the mornings. Maybe you can break the silence and bring us all together. Batman and Wanda - has a nice ring to it!

    Ha! I think Wanda might be just the perfect ladyfriend for Batman. He's the same way... he just ignores the dogs that walk past us, or tries to hide from any dog who wants to play.

    Mount Prospect Park, you say? I tend to avoid the park during off-leash hours, because of the friendly-dog chaos, but if there's a place where the anti-social dogs hang out, I'm totally there! I think we'll check it out Thurs morning... thanks!!
