can I just say that it is absolutely MORONIC that anyone would not be in love with this fabulous kitty. Actually, it annoys me. Here is a cat with style and so much cuteness and I can't have it!! :evil:

Ok, Chatzee's original owner J came to visit my neighbors a few days ago. Turns out that the wife T told J they could take Chatzee but after J left her husband E told her no. J came over to visit Chatzee and I can honestly say that I haven't seen Chatzee that happy in all the time I've had him. J told me his ex-boyfriend H was asking about Chatzee and expressed an interest in adopting him. I talked to H, he and J were together when J got Chatzee so he knows him. H is willing to sign an adoption contract stating that he'll give Chatzee back to me if he ever has to give him up. I'll be meeting him on Sunday and I'm really hoping he turns out to be as nice as he is on the phone. I'll keep you guys updated!

Did we ever learn why J didn't take Chatzee to begin with? They do allow cats in FL, don't they? I'll never understand how anyone can do this sort of thing. 2 years after my cat died I still wish I could just have 5 more minutes with him.

Well, for someone who claimed to love Chatzee J mistook my 14 year old cat Wednesday for Chatzee. Wednesday is smaller than Chatzee and they don't resemble each other at all except for being the same color. I sincerely hope H is more responsible and caring. Like you, tajmb, I couldn't imagine abandoning any one of my pets. Even with my fosters I like to hear about them after they've been adopted. Oh, and this is Wednesday.

Mama, trust me if I get a bad feeling about this guy then there's no way he's getting Chatzee. It's happened before and I always go with my gut.
Flexi, that pic is from a few years ago but I swear Wednesday has not changed a bit. She still demands "rides" to her food dish and is as cantankerous as ever! -

Haha, she just likes to be picked up and carried to her food. Wednesday has these short little stubby legs, she's not very agile. She has to psych herself up to jump onto the bed and she still has to claw herself halfway up.
The smaller the box, the more a kitty wants to stuff themselves in it! -
Chatzee caught himself a big nasty waterbug the other night. He was immediately surrounded by 3 other cats demanding a piece of the action. I left the room to let him have his fun (not because waterbugs make me squeal like a girl, who told you I do that?!?). When I went back in to the kitchen the bug was on the floor and Chatzee, Grumps, and Lucy (new foster kitten) had formed a triangle around it. They were just waiting for it to stop playing dead! Of course, it made a break for it so I had to bust out the vacuum with the hose and suck that bastard up. I have to say it was one of the funniest things I've seen, that little triumvirate of kitties.
Chatzee still needs a home, I have to get my ass in gear and post him on craigslist. I've decided he's a cross between Alan Cumming and Nathan Lane, fierce but a little chubby. -
Unstickying because it's been a long time since we've had an update. Caseopele, if Chatzee still needs a home just give us an update and I'll be happy to re-stickify.

Chatzee still needs a home, I am completely overwhelmed right now with the 2 new additions. (My fault for being a sucker, I know!) I've been sick the past 2 days so there's been much self-pity being wallowed in. I'm going to post the new kitties before going back to bed for a bit. Woe is me... :-({|=

No love for Chatzee still... He's such a funny boy and missing Squeakies, he was the only kitty in the house that could keep up with him. But the other day I caught Chatzee cleaning Mumps, it was adorable!

Still got him, he's a sweetie and a naughty boy. Likes to play at night and he's big and maybe not so graceful so he knocks stuff over sometimes. But he's a mush and loves to be with the other cats, always wants to make friends and smushes his head against me so I'll pet him.

Same old story, but at least Chatzee's a sweetie and helps with the fosters. He thinks he's the ambassador of the house and his job is to make each new foster feel welcome and let them know they're in a good place. Sweet boy, I love when he cuddles with me. He's huge and snuggles right up against me!
