  • Eat puss...wha...?

Watch it, man, children might be reading!
  • I am the best PUPUSA eater in the hood!!
  • I was chowin' down on em Sunday at the Red Hook vendors. Yes the wait was excessively long but thats why we'd send one of our friends to attain corn or emplanadas to snack on as we waited. And I'll be damned if those meat and cheese pupusas were not worth every second waiting on line. This weekend, huaraches for all!
  • Its only 8:30 am and i am craving them!!
  • Whoah, so hmm...

If the city forced them to serve from regulated trucks these days...

Perhaps they can get someone to organize and get financial backer to go mobile, like the wafel dingen truck!

    Pupusa Fleet!

Just think...instead of everyone going to long lines in Red Hook and the Brooklyn Flea as the only options, pupusas come to a corner near you!

    Woo~!
  • I was there on Saturday. I had to stand on line like forever, but it was worth it!
  • My fondest memories as a child was traveling from Apopa to Aguilares with my uncle on his way to vissting his fat girlfriend and stopping in Guazapa to eat Pupusas by the side of the road. Fat older women with their huge smiles and golden teeth, bulging belly´s behind their flower pattern aprons. Lazy dogs and cats laying on the dirt floor, chickens running aroundand planks of old wood as tables, leather skin Campesinos with their straw hats, their Machetes and Cumas ready to be slaves cutting sugar cane all day, this was their breakfast. Big red clay comal being heated by chunks of dead trees and the women pounding away at the Masa. First making it into a ball , then flattening a bit, placing, the queso and Frijoles with loroco, or chicarron, or cheese and Ayote and laying them down on the comal for a couple of minutes, flipping them and there i was with 2 or 3 pupusas, with a shit load of spicy curtido and topped off with fresh basil salsa de tomate and a nescafe coffee. Man i miss those days, those days when i had some innocence now the pupùsas are hard to come by and i am just another fucked up drunk in Prospect Heights!!
  • Check this out!!

  • I am such a loser but i remember this song, a tribute to the PUPUSA!!

  • Hah, that is awesome.

If they took their trucks mobile, perhaps that could be their ice-cream-truck song.

Hey, why not...the Schnitzel truck guy had his own song...

  • Had my first papusa yesterday. Yummy. Plain, but yummy.
