Great. Now we know how to complain about the nasty cashiers. Thanks, Alicia

    You're welcome!
  • I used the contact form and got this answer.

We have been working on this issue and some positive customer feedback indicated that our service was improving to some degree. Your letter indicates that we probably still have far to go. We will continue to monitor this problem and I hope to hear from you someday soon that a turnaround is noticed.

  • Glad to hear they're responsive.

No one gets to complain about anything -- not C-Town, 7th Ave Key Food, nothing -- until they experience the joy that is Windsor Terrace's sole supermarket, the Key Food on 11th Ave and Prospect Ave.
  • I go to the 7th Av. Key Food all the time. The kids at the registers are OK. To their credit, they work at a shitty low-paying job, deal with crabby customers who scold them and they probably go to school and have to do homework too. Yeah they giggle and talk to each other a lot but I'd rather see kids working than on the street doing drugs and drinking.

Yah, I'd love to see their response. Who am I kidding? They'd never respond!
  • Alicia -- A Pioneer used to be at 7th and President? I thought it was an A&P??
  • I always see a long line at the self service check out line. I usually have too much stuff or find a shorter line so I don't use them. It takes labor to make those machines.

They are terribly rude at that Key Food, must be related to the Union Market cashiers. Before the renovation there was one woman, forgot her name, who was everybody's favorite. She used to have a long line of customers. Very nice woman.

Some of the nicest cashiers I have seen are at Lowes Home Improv. Never had one problem and I go often.

I never check my receipts. I usually forget what is on sale anyway, but will try and remember to check. I usually do big shopping at the 5 ave one. Parking lot is convenient.

It was an A&P before it was a Pioneer.
  • Oh I didn't know there had been a Pioneer there after the A&P. Alicia, did you also work at the A&P?
