i have a question about western beef,
do they have a decent selection of non-meat stuff? specifically: cheeses, dairy, eggs, pastas, spices, ethnic foods, and veggies? anyone know how western beef would stack up to wegmans as a supermarket?
its been years since i lived upstate, and god forbid i ever go back... but i seriously miss those grocery stores. -
Oh man, WEGMANS. Supermarket as paradise. Was in one in Buffalo once, and I'll never forget it.

Subject: Wegman's!!
I'm from Rochester - the home planet of Wegman's!! There is no greater grocery store!! Miss it terribly! Agghh, well, the cheese section seems to be broadning at the Met - they had Port Wine in stock yesterday. It's the little things. -
Subject: Stabitz...
Stabitz on Court Street in Cobble Hill is legendary, and they special order around the holidays.
Although, nothing can beat BBQed baby racks of Lamb from New Zealand bought for about 1/2 the price of Stabitz at Costco. Seriously.
Howdy, Stranger!
