  • That explains the undercovers that searched my drunk ass last night.
  • "412 St. Mark's Place" doesn't exist; it must be 412 St. Marks Ave, between Grand and Classon.

If the police are investigating motives, does that mean it wasn't clearly a robbery?
  • I'm surprised to see it made the NY Times. Other killings/stabbings on St. Marks over the past few years were not reported anywhere. I think that says alot about the new visibility of PH, except I think the stabbing took place in Crown Heights, not PH {using the old-timers guide to bounderies}.
  • the print edition had a photo of the victim and although 22, he looked no older than 12 years old.

IS THERE A BIG PROBLEM WITH THAT BLOCK??? Meaning St. Mark's btwn Grand and Classon. I'm looking at an apartment there.
    rsvp anyone......
  • St Marks is hit or miss... some blocks are good, others are gross. You should be able to tell when you see it, but if you want our opinions let us know.. I live on classon btwn prospect & st marks
  • Warning Sign: if you're arguing audibly with someone on the street after midnight, reexamine your life.
  • Subject: Not Prospect Heights

If the Times has the street name right, it was in the Slope, and if they meant Avenue, then it was in Crown Heights (the 400 block is east of Washington).
