Recommendations on Longterm Parking Garages in the Slope?

Hello everyone,

We're moving back to the Slope but this time with a car. Can anyone recommend a garage to park the car in, in the Slope or surrounding areas? Thanks.

  • North and South Slope both have garages, but Center Slope is lacking. To which part are you moving?
  • we're moving to Garfield place and 7th. Do you have the names or addresses of the garages in north and south slope? any assistance would be great. thanks for replying.
  • There is a garage about 30 feet (toward 6th Avenue) from that corner. The phone number is (718) 788-9851. The owner's phone number is (or was) (347) 392-1278. His name is "Al Jr."

I have parked there for 14 years. The monthly cost is $267.41.

There are two serious problems with the garage:

    1. It is very long and very narrow. It is not manned on Sundays. If you do not make advance arrangements with the staff to move your car up front Saturday night, you may not be able to get your car into or out of the garage on Sunday, because careless parkers can and do block all access and egress. Also, to get your car out on any early morning, you need to make arrangements the previous afternoon.

    2. Because the owner packs too many cars into too small a space, the sides of your car get all dinged by the opening doors of adjacent cars.
  • Central Parking Garage next to the Food Coop, (718) 622-2351. The garage is attended 24 hours 7 days a week. I believe the monthly rate is now $335 per month. There is a waitlist from 4 to 6 months for a spot.
