Free Pizza Tonight (7/25/08)

I stopped by just after 7p, *really* nice inside, and they were setting up a jazz band and a table outside for sampling some of their slices.

I spoke to a nice man who mentioned it was sort of a not-quite-open-yet, private event but that I was welcome to join, and he mentioned I should also check out his other restaurant across the street, Tavern on Nostrand.

So it's the same owner as Tavern, which bodes well.

Didn't want to impose, so I thanked him and promised to return another night.

Great looking place, can't wait to give it a go.

I'm so sorry I missed the pizza preview. I live around the corner and have been waiting.

No one said how it tasted. Anyone?

I walked by today and saw the little coffee joint he is also opening this week. I expressed my excitement for some nearby coffee and he had someone make me a free cappuccino.
