Dentist Recomendations? Dr. Sarji?

EDIT: I learned my lesson for not searching before posting. Found many posts. Disregard, unless you have any particular knowledge not shared before...

Hi everyone.

So I think my crown needs to be fitted as it's killing me. Arggg...

I'm from Seattle and don't have a dentist out here yet. Any suggestions? I found Dr. Sarji on yelp (206 7th Avenue)... anyone have an experience here?

I'm not looking for anything fancy, just someone I can trust to not try to push dental work on me and that I can feel confident about their knowledge.

Thanks for the info all. I set up an appointment next Sunday and told him I was referred by "a park slope forum," and the receptionist responded "Oh, Brooklynian?" Haha, I guess people know us.

I've known Dr. Sarji for a decade. He is a real good guy and a fine dentist.

Thank you all for the tips.

I ended up going to Dr. Rosenkranz and am absolutely happy. He was very helpful, friendly, clean, and honest. I have no insurance (student) and he said that he waives his appointment fees for anyone without. I've never heard of that. Also gave me his cell and said call any time, day or night and showed me live video and pictures of my teeth.

Can't ask for much more. I left with a $25.00 bill! I had to bring my dog into the vet yesterday and it cost me $125.00! But hey, I'm not complaining.

Thanks all for the recommendation.

Oh yeah, he's fine. Just vaccines and yearly check up. Thanks!
