Uncanny! I was on the F train around the time you posted (almost exactly) and I DID see that cloud just before hitting Smith/9th.

While you observed this cloud.

What led you to notice it?
Did you notice it in the horizon coming towards you?
Did it 'appear' and grow larger in that round pattern?
What time of day?
Did you notice anything else unusual?

I am very interested in the sky and this is an interesting cloud.

Just a plain 'ol point and shoot camera. I happened to look out my window and was thinking to myself, "holly shit look at that thing!" and decided to share. It looked way more awesome and enormous in person, really! I mean it. I was crazy!

Looks like a super cell cloud, they form when cool and warm air collide, it could have turned into a tornado!
