Rental Spaces for event

I'm in search of a space in Brooklyn which would be appropriate for an event with about 100 or less people. Does anyone have any suggestion?? Preferably not a restaurant or someplace with a caterer already attached to it. A view would be ideal, but not necessary.

    They have a lot of listings of spaces and I believe it mentions if you can bring in an outside caterer or not.

    I went to an awesome wedding reception at Steiner Studios-Stage 6 in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. It was easy to get to, very unique and had a pretty awesome view of Manhattan. Plus my friends who got married are both super-cool, so that added to the appeal.

    steiner studios-stage 6 has multiple spaces, i think there's one that's about right for 100 (depends if it's cocktails or a seated meal), some of the rooms have incredible views/terraces. they are connected with abigail kirsch, which i know you said isn't ideal. that said, abigail kirsch is a very good caterer though.

    I thought of another that's great but don't remember the name - the woodsy pavilion in Prospect Park, near Prospect Park West. I went to a really nice party there in the spring and they have ample parking. Anyone know the name? Easily accommodates 100 people.

    Perhaps you mean The Picnic House in Prospect Park.

    How about Camp Friendship - the gym at the corner of 6th avenue and
    8th street. They rent out the space and you can set up tables,
    Have a band, hire a caterer. Prices are reasonable.
