my mom just called, I need to be out of the house in, oh, 40 minutes to run a bunch of last minute errands and am leaving tomorrow way early so no way can I get it tomorrow. so. last minute recs?

    it might be tough to find polar fleece at target during the summer.

    I would try this Timberland type store on 5th ave and (i believe) 8th street. It's one of those weird men's clothing stores that have North Face jackets, Carhartt stuff, men's undershirts, work boots etc. Again, not sure how much fleece they'll have in the middle of august.

    no worries. a friend is picking one up for me in the city. I need to get on with packing all the other crap my parents want so I can leave tomorrow. but thanks for your help, everyone!

    Glad you found a solution. If you had time I would tell you order from LL Bean.. all their winter stuff is available in catalogue and the shipping is fast. They have good quality.. on something like this item you buy it from them once and have it forever.

    yeah - I ordered MY fleece and jacket on land's end. they were fast, and both fit perfectly. if my mom had told me on friday, I'd have ordered an express delivery and crossed my fingers. but no! she's silly. thankfully, eastern mountain has them and my friend got one!

    I'll have a great time, I know. 5 weeks in the mountains of ecuador? teh awesome!
