anyone in that building? my husband and i are moving in...

also, does anyone have a good ob-gyn in the neighborhood? i know it's sort of an odd question, but i figured i'd ask.

Hi. I'm moving there too in August with my fiance. This board doesn't seem much alive. What do you think about the neighborhood?

It's a nice building (attentive staff, jovial doormen, Zipcar in the garage), the area is "up and coming" - most of the interesting stuff lies a few blocks south on Atlantic and a few blocks west on Smith St.

There's a Connecticut Muffin opening in one of the retail spaces. Downtown Brooklyn has some gems, but is mostly a work in progress. At the moment, you'll probably spend more time in Boerum Hill.

Is anyone renting a parking spot there? I drove there today to find out prices and the man working there wasn't much help. I asked a simple question..."how much is a monthly parking space for my car (while pointing to my car)"? I think my mistake was telling him my move-in date because then he started writing all these numbers down that made no sense. When I asked for clarification he started getting loud and impatient. Not a good first impression at all.

Anyway...enough ranting. Anyone know the prices?
