  • Steinway house on 57th street!Just pretend you are thinking about buying one..
  • I'd actually love to know this as well.... actually I wouldn't mind paying either.

    Thanks!
  • try some of the music schools. im sure they would rent out the room if its not being used. its not cheap however. turtle bay music school on 52nd street in the city rents rooms with nice pianos. but, if this is going to be a regular thing, consider investing in a nice keyboard with touch and velocity sensitivity. 8-900 bucks. korg does the piano action the best.
  • Hi. I'm a pianist, and in the past, or when I'm away from home, I sometimes visit churches. They're a good bet.

    James
  • Or just hit up a suburban mall.

    Can you say...

    WURLITZERRRRRR~!

(turned to 11..."Heart and Soul...I fell in love with you...OOH SWEEET! samba beat...")
  • I know there's a piano at Moonshine in Red Hook, but I'm pretty sure it's severely out of tune from the last time I was there and tried to play a little something and wow. I mean I'm not good by any means, but out of tune is out of tune!

Speaking of Red Hook, there's one at Sonny's as well. I think that one is used sometimes by the bands that play there, so it might be in good shape.
