hey there everyone.
I Just signed a lease and am moving to Ryerson street in sept. I am excited about the neighborhood, and look forward to being a full time resident. I love what I am feeling as a sense of community here in CH. Just need to get used to the G train I guess...

I live near you and you've basically encapsulated how we feel about our apt/neighborhood. We love pretty much everything, the downside is the G.

The G isn't as bad as its reputation IMO (I use it during rush hour every day and its fine), but it's still a pain considering that you -have- to transfer to get to Manhattan.

But it's worth the trade off, which is why we've been here three years. The Associated is great (best beer selection ever, good organic section). Good restaurants. A couple good bars. Hardware store. Good laundromat. & so on

the 54, 38 and 61 buses make a good substitutes for that ol' shifty G train.

Very true. intra-brooklyn travel, these buses are great.

Even the much fabled B69 can take you to Park Slope & beyond.
