lunch/brunch tomorrow?

A friend who's never been to PS is meeting me for lunch tomorrow in center slope and I don't know where to take her. Any suggestions?

  • take her to mcdonalds and get her the double filet-o-fish, it is fabulastic!
  • There are numerous threads on this board about favorite restaurants (as well as about some to be avoided). If you do a little searching you are more likely to get useful information quickly than by starting an entire new thread.
  • Wait... there are threads on here about "favorite resturants"? Can you please provide links?

Should I search for "favorite" or "restaurant" or "drunken" or what?

Personally, IMHO my $.03 are that the Farm is real nice. Also, Carriage House has a fryer that rocks out some rather tender, perfectified, morsels of deliciousness. Plus you can smoke in the back... Then again, that's just my 3.5 cents...

    Disclaimer: I haven't had a drink like 44 hours.
  • 44 hours, damn!

Depending of your friends tastes, there plenty of places to grab a good bite.
Bonny's for a low key, fun place to grab a burger, a pulled pork sandwich or a beef on wreck. There's numerous bars that have opened up on 5th ave in center/south slope that carry food. Maybe take your friend for a walk down the avenue and see what catches your eye. Your bound to find something you'll like.
  • Barrio is about as Center Slope as it gets and does a good lunchy-brunchy thing. Miracle Grill fits that exact criteria as well.

You could do Stone Park, but show up close to opening or you'll be fighting the throngs who start showing up mid-day.

When the hell did Blue Ribbon stop doing brunch? Who green-lighted that idiotic idea?
  • ditto what jo518 said re Barrio & Stone Park
