Fire on 7th and 9th?
I'm SURE this was posted somewhere, but I can't find it. Someone just told me there was a massive fire near Smiling Pizza on Friday night/ Sat morning this past weekend. Anyone know what happened? I hope no one was hurt!

I saw that - I think it was Sat night/Sun morning. Smiling Pizza appears to be untouched; when I walked by there were people sitting in there munching their slices while the rest of the street was illuminated by lights cop cars/fire trucks. I think I saw a ladder truck going up to the top floors of a building a few doors away.

I woke up at about 2:15 am smelling smoke - in the north slope. I got up, checked through the apartment and stuck my nose out the window all before I heard the sirens. They sounded like they were up around 7th and heading south. I was curious I didn't see mention of a fire hereon Sunday.

i saw that the (rather expensive) flower/plant store on 7th (and 7th?) was 'closed due to fire'....
hmmmmm....
