Scouting Party

Many of us remember this store on Seventh Ave. and Tenth St. and the woman who owned it. She was very much a part of the neighborhood and reached out to everyone with great warmth.
I just learned that she - Jane - is fighting a serious illness and I thought it might cheer her up to know that she is remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Thanks for this post and yes I remember Scouting Party as many old timers do. I will send her a note. Again, it is sweet and gentle that you had this information and were trying to bring it to the attention of us old time Park Sloper's.
