  • Very nice! Any word on what the anticipated cover charge will be?
  • Sweet, does anyone know the owners or management of this place? my best friend is a bonafide degree-holding jazz sax player and is looking to meet up with new bands, I'm sure she'd love to get in contact with the management/talent in this joint!

yes I do but now is not the time to contact them for that as they are beyond stressed trying to get open. i will keep you posted as per grand opening date.

remember the first tiny lil puppet's on 5th ave between 1st and 2nd? same people just new and much bigger space.

to Carnivore, before, it would either be free or $5. I don't know if that will remain the same or not but even if not I can't see them charging more than $10 in worst case scenario.
  • Yeah yeah,,, doubt this place will ever open.

make sure not to come when it opens then they don't need no negative vibes there.

    why do you say that?
  • I say that because I know who owns the building. I say that because this person is about how to make a profit. I say that because this person has no feeling whatsoever about making sure that music (of any kind) is a part of what living in PS is.

I totally hope that what I "know" is so wrong.

But all that I say is based on personal experience of the wizard of Oz who lurks behind this particular curtain.

they got a long ass lease so the building owner is not a factor

I wish them good and long luck.
  • The "Puppet" who the club is named for, isn't he some kind of skate boarding legend?

Yes and an ill drummer as well. He has a skateboard named after him and everything.
  • I can't wait. I loved the old place. It's been over a year since they closed down (I think).
  • I'd be so exited if it really (finally) opens! It has been more than a year since they annouced that they will open the place "in couple of weeks"
