Subject: owner of freddy's dies?
i think i saw in a brooklyn paper this weekend that the owner of freddy's died after getting pneumonia after being hit by a bike...did anyone else see this? i searched to see if anyone else had posted this, and didn't come up with anything. am i crazy?Comments

I'm going to Comedy Night tonight, so I'll ask. You might have this mixed up with longtime Freddy's patron Lee Houston, who did die after an illness this summer (I believe).

I don't know about the owner, but I heard that a long-time regular they referred to as Johnny Seatcovers died around noon on Nov. 16.

Frank Yost is the undead, you can't kill him. Two long-time patrons have passed away. Lee Houston and most recently Johnny "Seat Covers" Severino.
