2 beautiful rescued kitties need homes!

Coco and Diana belonged to a family in my neighborhood. They got outside, most likely because they weren't spayed, and the family wouldn't let them back in. They had a baby and were convinced that the girls would give the baby some disease. They also swore they were feeding them twice a day, something I highly doubt considering how skinny they were. Coco was pregnant too but both girls have been vetted and spayed courtesy of the lovely ladies of Kensington Kitties who also named them.

They are both very sweet and affectionate, Diana is a total lap cat and talker (the siamese in her). Coco is a bit more restrained but it could be because she was pregnant, she's been a bit less shy since she was spayed. I would love to keep them together, this morning they were curled up together cleaning each other. This is a new development since they didn't appear to like each other in the beginning. But if seperating them means they'll find homes then I'll have to do it.

Diana's eyes are much bluer than in the pic

Coco has gorgeous light green eyes that I couldn't get a good picture of

  • OMG I want to take them home
They are just too cute not to find a loving home
  • oh so cute. pretty girls - and I love it when kitties groom each other.
  • Thanks guys! They are just the sweetest kitties, Coco is turning out to be such a mush. She likes to have her belly rubbed so she rolls right over on her back. They've started playing finally but are still staying in the bathroom. The dogs freak them out so bad that they end up hissing and fighting anything near them. My legs have been caught in the way twice and don't look too pretty. They are so in love with each other it's insane, they rub against each other, tails entwining like a cartoon or something. When Coco hears the dogs outside and hisses, Diana runs over to her to make sure she's okay!

We've gotten a few interested people but they keep bailing out. It would be nice if they at least emailed me back to let me know they changed their minds so I wouldn't keep hoping. It's a little annoying when people waste my time and get my hopes up. Keep your fingers crossed for me and the girls! Feeding *cough*11*cough* cats is breaking me. Thank the baby jeebus for Target right now and my awesome neighbor for feeding me. :)
  • Diana and Coco have an awesome new mom and dad! They're going to their new home on Thursday and I couldn't be more pleased. We're doing a trial run to see how well they adjust but I'm sure they'll be happy when they realize they're the only cats and there are no annoying dogs! Wish them luck!
  • Yay, Caseo! I'm glad you found these two a home...and together!

Now, don't go taking in two more to fill the void! Remember, you are at maximum "catpacity" :-)
  • Oh no, not this time. Me and my wallet need a break, no void here! :)
  • Another two kitties saved! Great job! =D>

caseopele, maybe you can focus on making catnip toys again as a break from rescuing more kitties. I know they are hard to resist. :D

    If I had a dollar for every time I heard you say that . . . . :-'

Another great job caseo thanks for all you do for the kitties xoxo
  • darla, that's a great idea! I haven't made any for the longest time and I know someone who wants to actually buy some! Ooh, my mom gave me an old sewing machine for my birthday. Of course, I have no idea how to use it since I learned on an old treadle sewing machine. This one is electric and all new fangled! :)

stacey, I swear I mean it this time! Someone's going to have to tell the kitties to stop spreading the word about me though. Diana totally sniffed me out! You're a doll, smooches!
