    I haven't tried it and was actually thinking about ordering one today. My dog hates, hates, hates when I clip her nails. Thought it might help. Anyone?

    Mr Transplant's brother has one that he uses on his (many) dogs and apparently it works really well. Except on Berkeley, who tried to eat it.

    This dog training book I've been reading lately recommends it as a good alternative to clipping - it apparently minimizes the chance of cutting into the "quick" - the fleshy mix of blood vessels and nerve endings inside the nail.

    It is worth noting she recommends using a Dremel Moto-Tool with a number 8193 grinding stone for grinding nails of medium to large dogs. So you might not need to go for the infomercial product.
