HEY BOB I AM JUST SITTING HERE RIGHT NOW WATCHING THE NEWS. I RAN OUT IN MY BACKYARD TO MAKE SURE THINGS ARE SECURELY TIED DOWN. I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE CLOSED THE POOL UP LAST NIGHT, BUT MY HUSBAND SAYS LEAVE IT OPEN FOR ANOTHER WEEK OR SO. I ACTUALLY LOVE THE FALL/WINTERS SEASONS BEST. I AM AN AVID BOOK READER (ESPECIALLY TRUE CRINE BOOKS) I AM DRAWN TO THEM.
I JUST SAW ON THE NEWS HOW THE OWNER OF STEEPLECHASE, CONEY ISLAND NOT RENEWING LEASE. SUNDAY IS THE LAST DAY. HOW DEPRESSING. I WENT THERE LAST FRIDAY TO SEE THE FIREWORKS. GLAD I DID THAT. ANOTHER LAND MARK GETTING BLOWN TO PIECES. -

BASEBALL IS REALLY MY FAVORITE SPORT, AND THAN OF COURSE FOOTBALL (GIANTS BEING MY FAVORITE TEAM) WE ARE ALL GIANTS FAN IN THIS HOUSEHOLD. ONE THING WE AGREE ON. LOL WE ORIGINALLY HAD THE TICKETS FOR 1:00 pm, but they bumped the game to 8:00 pm. that's hard since we all get up early for work and my youngest has school on monday. oh well, my last trip to shea. than next year on to citifield. hate that name. IT WILL ALWAYS BE SHEA TO US.

Yes, I am still in Florida. We escaped Hanna and not sure about Ike.
The weather is absolutely beautiful today, and I hope to get to the
beach sometime. I am anxious about flying home Tuesday afternoon
(think it is a 2:30pm out of Ft. Myers) if Ike is about us. I did talk to
my pet-sitter and she's on continued 'baby sit' alert, if we can't fly out. And I brought extra medications with me, so we'll be okay. Now that
Frank is retired too, there's no stress to get back. Funny - I have on
my T-shirt today that says "I didn't survive cancer to die of stress."
Love to you Judy.... and all... .hope all of you up North stay safe, as Hanna approaches.

Yes everyone, Mongo is (Terry, what do you call them?) a behind the scene blogger? Mongo red this all the time and he is the one who told Little Vinny about the site.
Little Vinny is in Methodist Hospital, he just had back surgery and is really going to try to come to the reunion. Tomorrow he will talk to Mongo and tell him to call me or log on.
A message for Janek and Henu, Little Vinny said he'll shoot ayou guys a message when he gets home from the hopsital.

Do you hear from anyone from 7th Ave. It seems everyone fell off this earth. I got tired of being the one always doing the calling. If people want to be bothered, they should use the phone once in a while. Bruce keeps saying he wants to have a reunion, but all he does is talk.
