Today's rain storm
Subject: Today's rain storm
Park slope is prone to flooding. We should all make sure the gutters on the street corners are free of debris or garbage. Any obstruction would lead to flooding. Additionaly, please avoid running a dishwasher or taking a shower during the storm. It will add to the sewer water load which can barely handle the rain. :roll:Comments

And don't flush! Your feces WILL end up in my basement.

I went out to get coffee and study this morning and all the coffee shops were
packed! Guess I'll stay home
I had leaves sticking to my legs when I got home. I pretty much swam to the coffee shop. -
C-town was ridiculous, and the delivery was worse - I was really feeling for the guy and I tipped him big-time. Still, I got my groceries and we'll just weather this rain (har).

Yep. One time down by fourth avenue I saw a manhole cover lifted off it's hole from the water. You could barely even see it was open from all the water. Someone could have easily fell in.
Howdy, Stranger!
