Hey guys-
I'm going through some personal and work bs that will require a bit of traveling over the next few weeks-if anyone wants to pick this up and run with it please feel free. sorry to drop the ball. -
Hi Piero
The folks at Brooklynian are interested in having a Book Exchange.. possibly this coming Sunday and they are looking for a place to hold it. Possible places to set it up would be upstairs or good weather then in the back garden. All that would be necessary would be some tables to put the books on and hopefully a lot of people would come to Aji have some drinks and food and look at the books and take them home. Is there a time this coming Sunday that would be good for you and not interfere with Brunch? With any luck this could bring in a lot of people.
Either let me know through e mail or look for posting on Brooklynian under BOOK SWAP and respond there. They are looking for a 2 hour time slot somewhere in the afternoon.

Hopefully he will reply and this Sunday the Book Swap could happen.

i did hear from Piero and he enthusiastically said he always will find room for Brooklynians so what time would you want to do the book swap ..this sunday at Aji.. 9th Street bewteen 4th and 5th Ave?
I hope there are still lots of people interested but if we even had 6-10 people who were in to it we can make it happen. -

Great Sweet Tea.. I will let Piero know that we will be there Sunday between 2-4pm. He is pretty laid back as a person but wants to accomodate us. So ANYONE if you walk in there and say the code word BROOKLYNIAN... you will be directed and get great treatment.
Gonna let my daughter in law who is a real reader that this is the place to trade books on Sunday!! If you know anyone that is one of those avid readers who is ready to send books back in to the universe and grab some potential reads please let them know we are on for Sunday. -

I stopped in to Aji this evening and they had a lovely vocalist with a Jazzy Band.
The Book Swap is Sunday from 2pm-4pm (or after if there are books and people there). I will stop in but if you get there before I am around then just come in ask for Piero or any of the other two owners and they will set you up with the books in a good spot and hopefully many people will show up.

If you have any questions about this please post them here and I will check back in the morning. Basically it is simple... show up.. swap books and hang out for a while. -

I will still come tomorrow, though probably won't be staying for too long. I will drag my husband along too -
I'll still be there, but don't know how long I'll stay. Got a pile of books ready to bring.

Hey there is no requirement to stay for 2 hours. You don't need to show up with a carton of books. Just make a stop at the book swap part of your day. The weather looks gorgeous. Get out there and have a good day no matter what you do.
