Fruit Man. Gone. — Brooklynian

Fruit Man. Gone.

Well, that didn't last long. The nice guy who opened the nice fruit store on Atlantic and Grand is gone. Store is boarded up. FOR RENT. That hardly lasted two months.

I know it was a bad location for a produce store, but he made it so warm and fuzzy in there, it made me forgive his mushy plums. Would have slam dunked on Fulton St.

  • WOW. yeah it was a horrible location. not to mention I felt that he should've had some racks outside the store to show what he sold inside but maybe there were sidewalk restrictions against that. oh well!

So the moral of the story is that no matter how nice you are, if yer fruit suck you are not going to make it as the Fruit Man?

    Seems fair.

It's on the corner of Franklin Ave. and Carroll St.
I walk by it almost everyday on my way home from The Associated.
Cracks me up every time.
