Ferals on Dean Vanderbilt - abandoned cat — Brooklynian

Ferals on Dean Vanderbilt - abandoned cat

Does anyone here take care of the colony on Dean and Vanderbilt? A customer told me that her soon to be ex husband took her cat and dumped it there. The cat is a 5 year old female named Shiloh, long fur, tabby sort of coloring with white under her chin/neck and on her belly. I only have a computer printed picture but my printer/scanner isn't working so great. If anyone sees this cat, please call her owner Dana at 718-636-5718. She's gone out there at night looking for her but no luck yet.

Please pass this on to anyone you think might know anything. I already suggested calling the ASPCA on him for abandoning a companion animal but she didn't want to do that. Personally, I would have really hurt any ex of mine that did that.

  • Unfortunately, pets end up being the victims of many a domestic dispute. I was reading just last week of about a scumbag who threw his wife's dog out the window to it's ultimate death. Hopefully your customer's cat was actually dumped at the feral colony and not thrown under a truck or train. She may well have ingratiated herself into someone else's home by now, some cats are lucky like that.
  • Caseo - you might want to talk to/PM lulusmoma.
  • Good idea, stacey, thanks!

bohuma, I heard about that too. It makes me wish for 10 minutes alone with people like that, nothing makes me angrier than an animal abuser.
