  • got home too late to stop by - Hamilton can you post a summary of what happened?
  • The meeting was well attended and very informative,Lauren set an agenda that had the following address the group.

State Senator Eric Adams who advised he is dedicated to serve our community and will respond personally to any problems presented to him by WTA or any individuals who contact him at his office .
He answers his own phone and had recently dismissed one of his staff for deleting an E-mail that she thought didn't merit his time.

Randy Peers, Chairman of Community Board 7 who lives in Windsor Terrace and advised that the CB7 is available and willing to help in community development and in resolving any problems the community may face.

Det. Cleary of the 72nd Pct spoke about illegal parking on Macdonald Ave by the cemetery and trying to have a new traffic light place on 19th ST. and Terrace Pl.

There was representatives from Jim Brennens and Bill DeBlasios office .

Scott, one of the owners of Park West Vision is going to try and establish a Merchants Group on PPW, which will tie in with WTA to help develop and maintain a stronger Community.

Coupon Rebate Applications were available for those who do not have Cable or a digital tuner on their TV,as on Feb 17 2009 broadcasting in analog will be discontinued.

There was a neighbor , who's name I didn't hear as the person next to me started to talking to me .
The neighbor is trying to developing an interesting project that will bring butterflies and hummingbirds back to Brooklyn by planting flowers that contain nectars that are attractive to them.
She mentioned how she planted a group of flowers in her friends yard which hummingbirds like and how her friend sits in her yard every morning and has her breakfast marveling at the beauty on the hummingbirds who feast on the nectar of the plants that were given to her.

There were other subjects but I didn't take notes and hope I haven't left any thing out.

Thank you Lauren for presenting an excellent meeting and the owners of Windsor Wines for graciously allowing the WTA to present a Community Meeting on their premise.
