I WAS AT CHURCH FOR NOVENA PRAYING FOR MY DEAR FRIEND MARIE WHO WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE 4 COLON CANCER. NOW THEY SAID IT SPREAD TO THE LIVER SHE IS ONLY 49 AND HER SON AND MY SON ARE BEST FRIENDS. HER BABY IS ONLY FOUR AND HALF. I HAVE BEEN SICK FOR DAYS. I THINK THAT IS WHY I ATE 4 BOWLS OF ICE CREAM LAST NIGHT AND CHIPS AND CHEESE DIP BEFORE I WENT TO BED.
YES I WAS UP EARLY GIRLS 6 AM SHOWERED AND DRESSED WAITING FOR MY LITTLE MIA TO COME AT 7:15. I THINK I TOLD YOU ABOUT MY FRIEND THE OTHER DAY SINCE I AM OUT OF MY MIND THESE DAYS I CANT REMEMBER WHAT I TOLD SINCE WE TALK EVERYDAY. TO TOP IT OFF I AM TRYING TO PRAY AND MIA IS THROWING HER BINKY ON THE FLOOR AND WHEN I WENT TO RECEIVE COMMUNION SHE THREW HER BINKY AT THE PRIEST. GOD HELP ME. I AM EXHAUSTED AND IT IS ONLY 10 AM.

Terry - if Mia threw her binky at Msgr. Ansaldi than I'll say she has good taste! Otherwise, blame it on her being half Jewish and not knowing any better!!
My time is off on this blog - right now I'm typing in the future since Terry's entry logs at 11:10 am and it's only 10:26 am.
Ok - that's my two cents for the morning. I actually have to do work. Hopefully I'll be back later.

Terry: Boy are you overloaded both physically & emotionally. I will say a prayer for your friend.
By the way, it is not the price of gas that I am worried about, it's the availability !! all the way up. It is an 11 hour drive for the 700 miles. I am sure it will work out. I may even check Hot Wire for flights and rent a car in Newark if I fly. -

It has been a real long time since I have made an egg cream but it shouldn't be that hard. Just think.....first you want about 2/3 (maybe more) of the glass to be filled with cold milk. Next consideration is that you want enough chocolate syrup so that when you add the seltzer to bring it up to final volume (i.e., full glass) you will have it dark enough and sweet enough. Then shoot the seltzer in and a moderate rate and stir. The first couple may be experimental and you fine tune the process. Want to get a nice foamy head.

OK......you might want to also experiment with the ratio of milk to selzter. By the way, I am still a newbie (that doesn't mean virgin).

I am trying to get Bob to go after his earlier committment. I told him I would save him some food. Is anyone planning to go anywhere after the reunion for those who do not have to rush home?? I thought that some people that did not make the deadline can meet up with some of us after it is over. Any ideas?? Anyone have a mansion in SI ??
