    hola: it was annoying me that i couldn't get on the thread, not only because i was having a time getting on, also because i am so crazy busy. i couldn't sleep last night so i figured it was a perfect time to try again; i was trying to get on with AOL but to no avail, so i tried again with Fox fire and i followed Terry's instructions, i bookmarked it as some else suggested and it worked; i am able to get on easily. thanks Terry and for all who tried to help me get on the thread. I am passing on the information to Carol and Pinky.

    Carol DL: Yes it's me Nilda the Hairdresser, yes the story you heard about Tommy is correct, it's a crying low down pity shame what happened to Tommy, the Reilly brothers were not only handsome they were fun to be with. Carol what is your full name? Maybe i do know you.

    I'm going to bring a few jars of U-Bet syrup. If we make a mistake on the first batch, we'll have plenty more left. I don't think it takes a lot of syrup, but just in case we'll have enough. If you need anything else let me know.

    Terry I'm going to do a test run on the egg creams saturday when I'm at the club. When you get there saturday night I'll have you try one out.
    Mom said you only get 8-10 egg creams out of 1 bottle of chocolate syrup so calculate how many we need.

    If anyone is interested there is a free closing day party at the yacht club on saturday from 1 til whenever. Free tap beer, feel free to come
    I'll be at the first table when you walk in the yard, just look for the short chubby girl, dark shoulder length hair. I'll be selling t-shirts.
    Or just ask anyone for Ann Marie.
    On the menu for the closing day party burgers, dogs, chicken, sausage & Peppers. NO CHARGE!!!!

    Terry I'll talk to you tonight I have to get this house cleaned before they condemn it. LOL!!

    Hi all I have been reading everyone's blogs...Nilda, I'm going to the reunion with you I hope. Lizzie Joy my e-mail address is [email protected], I hope all of you are doing okay, it was wonderful seeing all of you, just so very sorry it was under such sad circumstances. Linda I notice you on the blog, it took me a while to navigate here too, hope your okay, are you coming to the reunion? Listen all, I make egg creams all the time, but not now, I started a diet Monday, I'm whaling, but the ordinary seltzer (Vintage) works wonderfully, they sell it in the grocery stores, also, they make raspberry and cherry flavored seltzer, it marvelous in an egg cream, not like the usual ones, but good none the less. I hope everyone is okay, I will find out why Clotilda isn't coming on this blog(she is my daughter in law) other than that, just wanted to say hello, see everyone Sunday.

    Eddie says hi to all of you. He tracked me down via the 'Park Slope When Site,' which was sent to him by a friend. It was great to hear from Eddie
    after all these years (although I was afraid he was a stalker/voyeur when
    I received his first email). And of course when I realized who he was,
    I thought 'what a great guy'....

    I told Eddie many of you will remember him from the neighborhood and St. Johns. He's not available for the reunion (Terry, we know - it is closed!) And he did say a special Hi to you Terry. He recognized your name on the old site and kept reading; otherwise he would have deleted
    and miss this great opportunity to revisit us and his past.

    So here's to EDDIE CAPPARELLI!!! Maybe he'll join us someday!

    OK.....here is a link to a You Tube video on how to make an egg cream. Please note that it is better to use a seltzer dispensor but still works with bottled seltzer. Don't skimp on the chocolate syrup and use the best you can get (like Fox's). You can find anything on You Tube.

    WE ARE USING FOUNTAIN SELTZER FROM THE CLUB WE JUST HAVE TO PAY THE CLUB AND IT WAS CHEAPER THAN THE OLD FASHION SELTZER BOTTLES. AT TEN DOLLARS EACH AND WE HAD TO BUY A CASE .
