Has anybody been to the new lounge/bar on the corner of Vanderbilt and Dean? I think it's now open. Blue Indigo Lounge or something like that.

That place is finally open? It'll be great to have another place to hang out in the neighborhood. I'll definitely check it out.

Based on how long it has taken the wife and me to get to, say, Beast after it opened, I will report back on this new place in approximately one year.

wait, when is this joint open? is it a lounge or a restaurant? given how today is already failing me, and that I have a book I need to finish, I may swing by tonight after work. or maybe I'll be a smart girl and go home and sleep. we'll see.

We stopped in early Tuesday night around 9PM. It was nice. very quiet. Just a few people at the bar. It is very lounge-y. Candles, low seats, modern feel. There seems to be a d.j. area. $6 for my maker's mark

Somebody told me that it is a "jazz bar". That's unconfirmed though. Don't know if they are supposed to have live music. Didn't notice if they have any food.

yeah. I didn't make it last night. the (shocked surprise) exhaustion finally caught up with me and I went home instead. and put lots of weird crap in Franzia. I want to go to the new lounge!!!!!
