RALPH SUARATO: for a second i thought Rosa was giving you Spanish lessons. i have emailed you in the past, it didn't come back to me it probably got lost in cyberspace. i am really looking forward to Sunday, how exciting; Anthony Micari and his son are in Africa they should be coming home some time this week. i will give u his #. they are doing well, thank God. Sorry i missed u at Betty's Funeral, but i was committed that weekend with my daughter, she was called into work, she's a nurse. I am looking forward to meeting Rosa and seeing you and Donnie, i pray that he could make it. His son looks just like him.

ALAN LA GRECA: i want to thank you for that great 8th avenue link. this summer my friend Donna and i walked everyday to Prospect Park from 17 street bet. 3-4 ave much of our walk was on 8th avenue, we would admire the edifices but didn't know much of the the history; thanks for enlightening me. the history lesson was/is great. I noticed in our walks that some of the buildings have some very uniquely shaped fire escapes. Gracias.

Every one should take time out to view the 8th avenue link we have much beauty in Brooklyn, and many don't realize it. i am going to cut and paste and email it to people. Gracias again

I will always remember Sheila. She was a beautiful woman in and out.
She had grace and dignity. I am sure you miss her; I can't imagine losing my sister. And that was at a time when no one 'got cancer' or even talked about it. Now it's a common occurence/more out in the open.

I remember when Sheila and Donnie were doing major construction in
their house in Staten Island, and they were building this massive 'great
room.' All Donnie's uncles, father?? were there. You were probably
there also, Ralphie S... I remember the faux brick work in the kitchen.

I'd love to see how their children turned out (I saw Nilda's comment that
Donnie's son looks just like him). I remember Michael... is that right?
My ex-husband would always tease him and sing that song to him "My name is Michael, I have a nickel..." (something silly like that).

Well I'm sure Sheila is with mom now and they are at peace. I hope
you can find some peace of mind knowing that.

Look forward to seeing you Sunday! With all this anticipation, I hope I
don't have an anxiety attack.
