Two 3 month old kittens need a home!

Betsy and Lucy are approximately 3 months old and adorable. Betsy was given to me at about 5 weeks by Kensington Kitties, someone found her all by herself on the street. She will probably always be a little small but she's a spunky girl. These 2 cuties have to go together, they've been best friends for over a month. Betsy will lay on my lap and sleep next to me on the bed, she's a big purr box. Lucy is a little more shy and wary but she's gotten a lot better. We think she may have been the kitten of a feral cat. They play like crazy and are so much fun to watch. Oh, Betsy used to be Clementine.

Betsy around 6 weeks

  • Hey caseo,
I had no idea you were also finding a new home for your sofa.

  • Hmmm, do you think $300 is too high? I mean, there are a few scratches on it but you can see how comfy it is! :P
  • depends. does it come with those throw pillows?
  • I have to say that Ms. Betsy is teh cute. I haven't seen Lucy in person, but Betsy is adorable

Throw pillows are negotiable, what's it worth to ya?

Lucy is adorable too, she has the softest fur I've ever felt. They could actually go separately but they each have to go to a home with another cat. Betsy loves to play, even with the big boys but she will also cuddle. She was very sweet to me this past week and a half while I was sick. Lucy likes to play too but not as much as Betsy, she needs someone to bring her out of her shell a bit. Maybe a home with a more mellow cat. I swear I mean it this time, no more foster kittens! Especially ones that are underweight or terribly shy or somehow "damaged goods" because those are my favorites. I just want to make everything all better for them but then I get too attached and cry when they leave for their forever home!
  • I'm removing stickies on anything that hasn't had an update in two weeks or more -- please post an update in the thread if you want it to be re-stickied.
  • I still have these girls, they are so freaking cute, playful, and affectionate. When they find a home I'm going to be taking a break from doing this kind of thing.
  • Umm, Betsy and Lucy have *cough*found a home*cough* with a *mumble* kjfkjshwuio *mumble. Soooooo, gotta go, let's not talk about how many cats I have, mkay?

Oh, and Betsy is now called Mimi. Shhh...
  • No! Please tell me that you did not keep "Mimi" and Lucy. OMG! Stop! You must STOP!
  • caseo, what happened? i guess you were hooked in by the kittehs. figure out how to work that sewing machine for the catnip toys. i have fabric that i have been meaning to drop off for you.
  • WOMAN!! Stop already, you're place can't be big enough for all those pets???
  • Ladies, blame it on Mimi for sleeping pressed up against me and gazing at me adoringly. She purrs like a truck and uses all of her kitteny wiles on me. A week and a half ago I had to bring them to Kensington Kitties so they could be spayed. I brought them the night before and picked them up the next night. I missed them so much and Lucy, who was still a little skittish with me, came right up to me purring and butting her head against me. She's been way more affectionate since then, even letting me pick her up.

I've pretty much had the shittiest luck with men, my track record doesn't appear to be improving. Now I have the most wonderful kitties, who all love each other. Mumps and Grumps adore the kittens, even Wednesday cleans them. I'm absolutely not keeping anymore cats, I solemnly swear that this is my limit. If I can't manage to choose a decent man then I'll have my sweeties who refuse to let me be sad around them and do their best to cheer me up.

Lately, I've been feeling like I'm unfit for public consumption (as I like to put it). But I want you guys to know that I love you, haven't forgotten about you, and hope to be good friend material soon. In the meantime though, I've done some work on my apartment, organizing and finally utilizing the space I have. Even getting rid of some crap! Amazing what being exceptionally pissed off can do to get my ass in gear. Maybe when I'm done (and the big ass kitchen I have isn't being used as a kitty playroom and storage area), I could have you guys over? Mama, I'm working on making my place as allergy friendly as possible, no piles of crap for fur to collect on or under.

    Smooches!
  • I probably shouldn't come over your place Caseo. As allergic as I am, I have no self control with the meow meows. I go straight for them and hug them and pet them till can't breath anymore. It's like crack cocaine to me. Speaking of..... time to visit cuteoverload.com......
  • OMG- so true. She comes to my house and there's FUR everywhere. Don't know how she does it. I clean it up so its nice and clean, she comes over, and then there's some whirling dervishness of kitteh-lovin' that ensues and when its all over, there's Bear Hair everywhere....

    lol
  • That kitty was asking for it. He was doing that laying on the floor with my hind legs laid out! That kitty was needing some snuggles!!

I'm the same way. Why do we do that to ourselves?? The kittehs make me wheezy and sneezy and itchy and generally a wretch to be around for about a day afterward... and yet I hug them and squeeze them and let them infest me with their adorable allergens. Stoooooopid human. All my friends with cats warn me every time, but do I stop? Hell, no. They cannot save me from myself. I pet the furballs until I can hardly breath or see and when I get home my dog looks at me as if I've been cheating on him.
  • it's true; my allergic friends come over, after i've tried my best to limit the hair in our chaotic house, and they promptly pick up my orson and rub their faces on his belly. luckily, i also keep zyrtec and claratin in stock.

i can't blame them too much -- he's one of the few cats i'm even a bit allergic to, but the cuddles are so high quality that i ignore the itchy skin.
