    Terry Angelo (T-Bone)
, I would like to thank you for your gracious offer to email photo’s after the reunion . I will email you as soon as I return home & look forward to receiving them.
My cousin Teddy Wosny is now retired in Colorado after living in Miami for many years. I was good friends & classmate (St. John’s) of Elizabeth Gruska. Were you & I in the same class together @ St. John’s (G-66)? I have a sister Cynthia Kozar (G 62’) & my cousins Linda Kozarzewski (G 64’) & Diane Wosny(G64'). The rest of my cousins went to OLC on 25th street.
Have a wonderful time at the reunion & give everyone a hug & a smile from me.

This site has brought back many fine memories. I would like to thank all of you for making this possible.
    Once again thank you Terry.
    Stay well,
    Steve Kozar
  • Anthony G.
I was very happy to read your response. I am away & will call you when I return home. I remember your mom & dad very well. Teddy’s father & my father were brothers.
It appears Ellen Marra gave your email to my sister as usual it slipped her mind. You know how that works. I have seen your Uncle Mike/&Ellen Marra occasionally over the years at my sisters & would always ask how you, Mike, Clare& Pat were doing.

Remember buck buck, dodge ball, coco leeveo, tortureo leveo & going in Greenwood cemetery. How about the bandshell @ Prospect Park, dances at ST. John’s & YMCA. Chipping in for wine & finding someone 18 to buy it & than having to pay them. Thunderbird, Ripple, colt 45 mixed screwdriver etc…………I will call you.

I also seem to remember Anthony Umbria was he cousins with Alice Marino? I was sad to learn that Matt Gaeta passed away we were all such good friends. I see you play golf so do I ! Maybe we will play a round one day.

    Stay well,
    Steve K.
  • Steve K. I do remember your cousin Diane Wosny. She was in my sister Marilyn's class and we both lived on 21st Street around the same time when both our sons were in school together.
  • Subject: DAILY SLOPE

    GOOD MORNING ALL. T.G.I.F.] :D

2 MORE DAYS AND WE COME FULL CIRCLE AGAIN. EVERYONE TRAVELLING FROM AFAR, PLEASE BE SAFE AND CAREFUL.

A PLACE CAME TO MIND LAST NIGHT TO ME, AND I DO NOT KNOW IF IT WAS MENTIONED ON THIS BLOG AT ALL. THE PIZZERIA ON PROSPECT AVE AND 7TH? OR 6TH? AND THERE WAS ALSO A BAR UP THERE SOMEWHERE, BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME OF IT. ANYWAY, AT WORK, I WILL PEEK IN LATER HAVE A GREAT DAY  [/b]
  • Morning Everyone: 2 Days to go and I have to pack and pull it all together before getting on the road. Can't wait to see everyone and BROOKLYN !!! If I get in early enough, the first place I am going to will be Randazzo's Clam Bar in Sheepshead Bay. They refuse to give me the recipe for their Medium Sauce. I have even threatened to kidnap their mother and get it out of her, but Paulie refuses to give it to me !! So, I have to keep testing it.
  • The Pizzeria was on 7th. Not too sanitary but I won't go into it here, lol. I don't remember any bar on Prospect except Lauderbacks between 6 & 7.
  • Subject: everything

italian princess is probably someone we know not cecilia verba...and i liked that girl. roseann marino was always the one to be dressed in her holy communion outfit and go on the float with the saints. no one had a chance to do that. at least i never had the chance! :(
  • Subject: DAILY SLOPE

good morning janet, yes the pizzeria was on 7th ave and yes lauderbachs bar. went in there once for a small b/day party. it was ok. i am not one to hang in bars. i did love the clubs though. dancing on friday and saturday nights, sometimes sundays too, but that was once in a while due to work the next day. anyway, when are you leaving on your journey down here? be safe. :)[/b]
  • I am going to try to leave early tomorrow morning, around 5 am so I can get to Brooklyn before 6pm.
I never went into Lauderbacks, or any bar in the neighborhood. Just went to the dancing places in Bay Ridge.
  • GOOD MORNING ALL -

Terry and I just had an email conversation. Think it is important that no
uninvited guests participate in our reunion, including reporters, photographers, etc. (unless we know who and 'approved).

I know we'll all wear our beautiful name badges that Christina lovingly made, so we know who WE ARE and OTHERS... And I am strongly suggesting we wear them and question anyone who is NOT WEARING a badge. Like Airport Security, or corporate america protocol.

Yes, I'm slightly more paranoid in my wiser days.... Just think this is a
private affair and we're not looking for our own reality show even though
Terry and I would love that.

Food for thought....Catch up with you later.. TGIF!
  • Tina Joy - Again, thank you for the re-connect with Ralph. It would have been great to see you at the reunion. This is a once in a life time event for all of us to see each other after so many years. I understand that you have prior engagement but you will be in our thoughts that day. Stay safe and maybe we can connect soon in the future.

Janet - I know the excitement is building. Just be careful on the road and don't let your mind wander too much. It will probably wander when you are on your way back down south. Sunday will be a great day!

Carol DL - I'll see you and Peter Sunday. Remember, I'm sleeping over your house that night. Tell Loriann to have the sushi ready! :D/

Billy Brown - Wow! Long time no see. (boy, that's original...) anyway, Ralph was telling me that you guys work together. It would be good to see you and your brother Jimmy.
  • Is that Billy Brown from 19th Street?? WOW.
