Did anyone else get woken by the f ing loud ass helicopter this morning? ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! While I was desperately trying to get back to sleep, I had a brief worry that something bad had happened. Please someone tell me that something bad happened that warranted that disruption!!!!!!!!

  • Wow. Wishing that something bad happened in order to justify the fact that you lost a little bit of sleep. Is someone overestimating their importance a little bit?!
  • Just wanted a reason for the helicopter to hover over my house for 45 minutes and not have it be some drill the traffic people are starting from now on. Don't actually want something bad to have happened, just an answer.
  • They fly around all the time lately. Even late at night - so annoying. Dunno, there's a big shot senator living in the area, maybe it's for protection. Or maybe crime is up as people keep commenting here.
  • I've heard them now and then in Sunset Park, too, and have never known the reason for them -- except one time, I read in the paper the next day that someone had gotten lost at sea, and I thought the 'copters might have been circling around on a search mission. And one other time, during the day, there were some Koreans apparently staging an attack on the home of some idiot who had run over their grandma. So sometimes it's a law enforcement issue.

I'm sorry. The hellie was bringing me my morning tea from england. I love having my tea in the park and the hellie has to fly low so that the delivery guy can hang upside down to dip the tea bag in and out of my cup. If it makes you feel any better.... it was deeeeeeelicious@!

She said worry, not wish. Is someone overestimating his reading comprehension skills a little bit? :)
