Oh I am so there.
-
Sweet fancy Moses this is going to be glorious.
-
N-ice
-
Except for Tonio's the restaurants on that list pretty much suck. Then again I am running out of cat food.
-
I disagree (not about your cat food). Moim is excellent.
-
You should have stuck with the cat food. I just found a case lingering in the corner.

I am going! Printed out their cute little map like the dork that I am and we can't wait!!!!! See you on the street!
-
I'll be there too, starting at La Taquiera and making my way down 7th!
-
That was awesome!!!!!!! We started at Flatbush and walked down. By the time we got past 9th street, most places were out of food/drink. Best snack? Hmmm spinach gnocchi at Scottadito? Pretzels across the street?Kimchi scallion pancake at Moim? spicey hot chocolate? Oooo the dumplings at Back to the Land?
Gawd it was a good time!!!!!!!!!! The longest line we waited in was at Moim. The longest line we did not wait in was at Barrio. Really wanted to go there but all the free booze was kicking in at that point.
Sigh. Wish we had this once a month. -
There was lots of good food, but everyone knows La Taqueria's free full-size margarita stole the show. They were frozen and overly sweet, but damn if they weren't strong and free!
The worst part was waiting in line in front of this girl at Santa Fe who had just gotten a margarita at La Taqueria. She kept calling it things la takera or la taquera. It was like being next to a drunk Peggy Hill. -
Full size? Mine was half of a plastic cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hah! I started there just after 7 when they were still giving them out in full size cocktail glasses with salted rims. At least I tipped the bartender . . . -
CRAP! Was out last night and saw tons of people in front of restaurants. Had no clue what it was about. sucks.
-
Sounds like a delicious day you all had.
Tell me more.
What exactly did the food taste like. I want details. -
it was absolutely fantastic!
such a wonderful generous night!
thank you park slope!!!! -
it really was a great night.
by far, the star of the show was moim. not only was the food incredible...we had this glass noodles dish (amazing!!) and also something on a skewer...i believe it was grilled calamari.
the owner was there and was super friendly and told us we should go look at the garden (which is incredibly beautiful). he will surely garner some business from his involvement with this tour last night. he's clearly a good businessman.
some of the places were a little less than memorable with some sad looking chips and guacamole, but those who went all out will most likely be rewarded with some new customers.
a really fun night. -
dammit dammit dammit I was planning to go and then forgot all about it.

Will there be another one soon? Like next week maybe? -
IT WAS AWESOME!! A great Brookyn event. It felt like "trick or treat" but for grown ups!! Even to the point of some places closing their doors and putting out the "no more candy" type sign. I bet this will be even better next year.
-
We didn't make it to Moim. Missed the pretzels at Bussaco.

Our standouts: Anthony's pizza, Scottadito's spinach gnocchi, Miracle Grill's corn chowder, Flipster's mini burger, Chile & Chocolate's chili-infused hot chocolate, Cousin John's hunk of chocolate cake.
Cheers to all the businesses that made an effort.
A great evening. -
Damn, I am sorry I missed this. I hope it's annual, because I'll put it on my calendar for next time
-
I agree with the trick or treating for grownups. I said the same thing to my fiance last night! And I could have eaten the entire plate of Scottadito's spinach gnocchi, it was great!
Howdy, Stranger!
