  • Thank you Terry and everyone else who put this reunion together. It was amazing! I can't believe how it was so well coordinated in such a short time. Terry, you should become a party planner! You would be a great success. Although I didn't know that many people it was great fun seeing the ones I did know, and meeting some new friends. BRAVO!

Hi All - just heard about this site. I grew up on 7th Ave bet 19 & 20 St. Went to St. John's with Karen Dritto. Patsy - I remember you from the Club on 20th & 6th. Hi also to Joann Magnavita. So many familiar names - some I remember from knowing siblings: Edith Ann Bonavita, Jimmy Brown, Maria Costaldo. I also remember Ralph Trocchio and Danny Lavaglio from when they hung out with Phyllis Addalli (I was a little younger & very impressed with all of the "cool" older kids). Reading all of this has brought back a lot of great memories of growing up in the best neighborhood in Brooklyn!

OMG LORETTA FALCONE. HOW ARE YOU? WHERE ON THE MAP ARE YOU LIVING. I AM STILL IN BROOLYN, IN BAY RIDGE. LOVE IT. HOW HAVE YOU BEEN? IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME. KEEP IN TOUCH :)
  • Ralph, Maryann Bob and Maryellen,
    thanks so very much.
I had a great time. This is horrible, sounds like we will not be blogging anymore......... #-o I am not lovin that.

Hey Ralph, i am still at school lol.
  • Terry

You did a great job. Really, what more can be said. Seeing faces of old friends is a gift from God. People you thought you would never see again. Seeing Franny B., Joe Guzzo, the Castaldo girls to name a few was unbelieveable. Kenny didn't think he would know many seeing he went to public school, but he was wrong. He also had a blast. Thanks again and I'll talk to you soon.

PS Saw your can at mass this morning. What a good girl.
  • Hey Patsy - how are you? It's nice to be remembered! I'm living in Massapequa Park on LI. My Mom is still in Brooklyn. My 2 kids are grown - my daughter is married & my son still lives at home, but works in the City. I was widowed 9 years ago. Time marches on, but I guess, all things considered, I doing pretty good. I saw some of the pix that someone posted on the reunion yesterday...looks like everyone had a great time. Who do you keep in touch with from the club? Good to here from you. Keep in touch, Loretta
  • Loretta Falcone-OMG how are you??? It's so nice to hear from you. Please send me your email/phone so we can catch up. I'm sorry you weren't there yesterday - it was amazing. Send me your info:
[email protected]. I'll look forward to hearing from you.

    Karen
  • Judy - I never really knew your husband, but I did remember his face!!
It was great seeing you and everyone else. Take care.

    Karen
  • Lynjoy (mmaggie)...

My email address is [email protected]. Thankyou for your efforts.

    Sal
  • TONYMARE...HI. MARY ELLEN.I hope you are doing well,Its been a long time. Please say hello to LEFTY and JIMMY for me.Also ANTHONY and LOUIE. MICHAEL MICHEL.
  • Loretta Falcon, do you have a brother Michael?
  • Loretta Falcon, I used to be called Mildred Romano and lived on 20th st. bet 6 and 7 ave.
  • Mary Ellen Conroy,

It would be great to see the Conroys ! I have put several posts on this "thread" regarding your family since we spent so much time together. I moved out of Brooklyn at the beginning of the 1990s but was till going to Coney Island through the 1980s and met Jimmy, Lefty and even Johnny (in mid 1980s).

Yesterday's reunion was fun and I got to see some people I hadn't seen in a long time.

I still remember standing on Seventh Avenue and watching Anthony "peeling" around the corner in his car.

Say hello to the family for me.
  • I have written several posts regarding the mysterious "Italian Princess", however, something that I think is even more mysterious and interesting is that there are people out there who are reading this "thread" (or "blog") who haven't comment much or at all. We would like to hear from you. For example, Rita Negri, Nat Guido, Mary Ellen Conroy....Lefty, Jimmy, Eddie Elardo, Elvis Presley. OK, I guess we won't be hearing from Elvis but the others should write.
  • All I can say is WOW!!!!! It was one hell of a day. It was truly great to see old friends and familiar faces from the past. To the organizers of this fantastic event, Terry, Twiggy, Lori, Ann Marie, Karen and all who contributed behind the scenes, THANK YOU, it could not have been put together any better.
  • Janet are you still asleep?

To all the ladies who made this possible, a big thank you.
    Mildred Romano
  • Hi Millie - my brother is Michael ... what side of 20th street did you live on? I'm trying to remember you...are you his age?
