Rose Marsella -
To all who attended the reunion yesterday I'm sure you'll all agree that it was really spectacular to say the least!!!!!! I had a great time although there were alot of people I didn't know, it really didn't matter because just being there with everyone from the neighborhood was more than I could ask for, and seeing old friends was a wonderful, heartwarming experience. To all of you who worked so hard to put this together, KUDOS!!!!!!!!! I'm sure everyone will agree that you did a great job, and I know all appreciated it. It was wonderful seeing everyone there and enjoying themselves. So now the question is????????? when are we doing that again???????
Love to all
Pinky
Linda Joy Russo, I'll be calling you, we have got to get together for dinner and drinks one night real soon. -
HELLO
Just got home a while ago and read two days of this blog. There are so many things I want to say - and many have already been said!
It was great to meet you: my new friends... (Tony Mei being just one of them.)
And it was the BEST TO BE WITH YOU, all my 'old' classmates, friends, friends-of-friends, mom-of-friends.... you get it.
My only regret is that I didn't have/spend some more one-on-one time
with some of you. But I will be thankful that we had a change to connect
for the time we did. And I know we can stay in touch without a reunion. We all know how blessed we are!
I have some pictures and downloaded them to my computer. Not sure
what to do next to make them available, other than sending some through
email. I'll figure it out.
Once again, thanks to my TERRY, CHRISTINA, ANNMARIE, KAREN, LORI, and whoever.... for creating such a successful event! Maggie, thanks for the pictures; I'll take a look.
TERRY & JUDY
Thanks for the laughs at our pajama party. And it is barn swallow
(a bird) - not bone swallower
RALPH S
Thanks for taking us for breakfast this morning (my favorite meal).
It gave us a chance to have the runion last for another 1/2 day.
It was wonderful seeing you after all these years and to meet Rosa.
I didn't want to go and single anyone out - cause it was great to see
all of you --->> If I hugged you, I LOVE YOU - please KNOW THAT!!!!!!
Yes, I'm talking about YOU!
Catch up with you soon!
GOD bless your week!

Karen Dritto - I have to agree with Bob H. you were just about the only one that I did not have to look at your name tag. You were exactly how I remembered you. I wanted to ask you before I left but it got so crazy at the end. I remember our moms doing Girl Scouts together and everytime I think of you and your mom I think of some kind of woods. Did you have a big back yard with a hill or did we go on some kind of camping trip with the Girl Scouts? I just remember lots of woods. Oh well it was really great to see you.
All the Bonavitas ---It was so nice to see all of you, you all brought back so many memories of all of you when you were so young and your mom and dad. Jolene is going to be so disappointed she did not get to see you all...hopefully next year!!!!
Joyce and all your beautiful sisters -- Wow it was so great to see you all...
Again, what an amazing day yesterday was..... Thanks, Judy -

BUT NO ONE CAN EVER TAKE AWAY YOUR PRECIOUS MEMORIES.....SO, DON 'T FORGET TO MAKE TIME AND TAKE THE OPPORTUNITIES TO MAKE MEMORIES EVERYDAY. TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON AND A TIME TO EVERY PURPOSE UNDER HEAVEN.

Subject: classmate
donna reitz tanzillo are you related to margaret reitz who was a classmate of mine @ p.s. i46. she lived on 17th.st. between 6th.&7th.ave.
she would be about my age 77 yrs' young.she was one of the nicest classmates.
jerry lagreca -
DONNA - it was great to see you and Kenny too.
What was special for me personally --- when the blog first started - 90%
of the bloggers were from St. Johns (so I felt) - and I had no school
friends. And, NOW, months later - I got to be with my kindergarten thru
grammar school & 10's friends (Maria Calendrino - it was great to see you; not enough time). Kenny was one of my school friends from
early on. He is special and I am happy your lives have turned out well.
Lucille DeCanio and I were attached at the hip from kindergarten through
the 9th grade. We even had to share a desk/seat one season when they ran out of desks. (Smaller ass in those days)
We only reconnected about a month ago after a chance meeting she had with Jamsey Oliva. Another one of those divine interventions.
I believe that GOD wanted everyone to come together for A REASON,
THIS SEASON. And the beautiful weather HE sent to us yesterday!
TERRY, as you know, WE have been having OUR OWN PERSONAL REUNIONS OVER THE YEARS. They mostly took place over the
phone; yet theywere just as SPECIAL!!!
Watching "Dancing w/Stars" and the pro, Inna is from Brooklyn.
Catch up with you during the week! Love to you and Judy! Don't
miss me tonight. I will miss you two; it was so much fun!
Howdy, Stranger!
