not quite that south, but I know there is one on 8th ave between 11th and 10th street. It's an accounting office but they offer notary too the last time I checked, for 2 dollars. I have never used their service though.
-
cool. which side of the street?
-
West side. Right in between dry cleaner and laundromat.
-
commerce bank will do it for free - whether you have an account or not, not a prob.
-
Really? Thats good to know. i thought banks will only do it for free if you have account with them.
-
Slope Reality on 8th street between 5th and 6th Ave... closer to 5th.. ask for Michael Schaum, who is also a terific local attorney. The cost to notarize won't be free but it will be nominal.
-
Ansonia Chemist on 7th Ave between 10th and 11th has a notary. The fee is low IIRC about $2.
-
$2 is the max that can legally be charged for notarization - don't pay more.
-
Most bank branches have a notary on staff. Banks don't usually charge their own customers notary fees, and Commerce Bank don't charge anyone, as Vanilla noted. I've used Commerce Bank to notarize stuff before, it's very convenient.

Murderface is a notary.
-
