Ugly Large Blow Up Holiday Dolls — Brooklynian

Ugly Large Blow Up Holiday Dolls

For god's sake, will someone please slap upside the head the folks who put out those huge, ugly, tacky, blow-up dolls as some sort of legitimate holiday decoration!

Can you imagine renting next to a clueless, tacky person who thinks "gee the holidays are upon us, let me blow up Homer Simpson!" And for two months you have to look at that thing (and hear it) out your window.

Landlords should seriously put that as a rider in a lease – no bringing low-class, crap like that to such a beautiful neighborhood.

  • Live and let live, baby.
  • Exactly.

This message seems like an obvious troll through the park so I tried to resist responding, but I can't help but point out that it's possible that some of those "clueless, tacky" people predated us in the neighborhood by a lifetime. The lease rider: great idea, sure to be followed by the "no renters with farty Subarus" clause on the other side. Or maybe a neighborhood ban on "Brooklyn" hoodies. Leading, of course, to a slippery (Park) slope.
  • I like your suggestions. Would also like to ban Ernesto Guevera T-shirts. Stupidest trend ever.

    Farty Subarus. Heh.
