I think the old Jacks--7th near union--does deliveries, they used to!
-
which part of the slope are you in? Slope Cellars (7th/15th) delivers
-
Red, White and Bubbly delivers, though, I think you have to order a minimum of $50 or $75 worth.
-
Beacon Wines and Spirits in Manhattan will deliver via FedEx for free with a $100 minimum order. They have an extensive selection.

Astor in Manhattan delivers to PS wed and sat. There is about $100 minimum order..might be slightly more than that.
-
Basically just about any local place delivers. I know Red White and Bubbly, Slope Cellars, Prospect, BIg Nose Full Body all do throughout the Slope.
-
I can't remember the name of the place but the liquor store across from Key Foods (on 5th ave) delivers, and a super low minimum (if they have one at all-- last week they delivered 2 bottles of wine to me).
-
Mei Chi on Flatbush (across from blockbuster) delivers to N.Slope & Prospect Heights, not sure about South Slope though. I'm pretty sure they don't have a minimum for delivery.

i really like their selection and prices, but the people who work there? morons. the guy behind the counter knew zippo about the wines i wanted to buy, then wouldn't take my amex gift checque because he said he'd never seen one before. i left without buying anything.
i don't know if windsor liquors delivers, but i've been very happy with their selection and helpfulness in choosing what i need. (i know others on the board feel differently, but i have no issue with them. not looking to get into a debate here.) -

Sterling Wines and Spirits is the place across from 5th Avenue Key Food-didn't know they delivered. they have some of the cheapest prices around, but, you have to know what you want. They are not the kind of place to ask for recommendations from. -
Delivers like you can call them up and say "I am in the mood for a nice Syrah but am too lazy to walk two blocks. Can you bring it to my door?"
-
Yes

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! Dangerous!
I wonder if Slope Cellars would bring their card puncher too! -
Subject: Re: Wine Delivery
I get my deliveries from Union Square Wines (full disclosure: a close friend of mine is a manager there). From their website,
http://www.unionsquarewines.com/shipping-policy.html
USQ is pleased to offer FREE delivery in Manhattan and nearby parts of Brooklyn, with a minimum order of $45. Orders under $45 will be assessed a $10 delivery charge per address. Deliveries going to multiple addresses will incur a $10 charge per each address beyond the first one. Please allow a 24-hour turnaround time on all orders. In some cases, same-day deliveries will be possible, but in general 24-hour turnaround should be expected. More lead time may be needed during holiday periods due to heavy order volume. If you are placing a last-minute order, please contact the store by telephone to verify that we will be able to accommodate you.Brooklynbound wrote: Does anyone know of a place that delivers wine locally?

I don't have a wine shop two blocks away, thanks. It's three! I like the place that delivers two bottles. That's more of my speed. Most of the places have at least a sixty dollar minimum.
