Even when there is not snow on the middle of the street, there is usually snow still on the parking sides which means that street cleaners won't be in use there.

If the city can't hold up it's end of the deal (cleaning streets) why should people have to hold up theirs?

Because it is a racket that generates millions in tickets for the city.
I think they should enforce ASSP as soon as possible and plow. I hate when its suspended for days on end and everything turns to ice and no one moves their cars.

That would be great! But they enforce ASSP and do nothing! Did they clean the streets this morning? Um, NO! I think citizens should be able to give the city a ticket.

Ah, i see. That is stupid. So, if you didnt move your car you got a ticket but the sweepy-moblie didnt even go by (or a plow). I shoulda read yer original post all the way thru. :P
  • It's extortion and the city is the mafia. These rules effect mostly the middle and lower wage workers who can not afford an indoor parking space. If the city can not clean the street because it is too cold out or if they are not going to do snow removal then these rules should not be in effect. It goes to show that the only reason there is ASSP is to make money.
