Dog Walker?

Hi, I just moved to Park Slope and need a dog walker. Any recommendations? I have the sweetest maltese! thanks! No issues!

  • I actually walk a few dogs in the neighborhood. I have been wanting a dog of my own but my wife and two cats say no. I walk one dog at a time through the park (how much fun can it be to walk crammed with 8 other dogs? I charge 15 dollars an hour. Check your personal messages for my info.

BTW I can also provide references.
  • Cheryl, who walks my dog (pictured left), is the queen of dogwalkers. My puppy was just 4 months old when we moved here, and she helped teach him to be a good walker and gave me other training tips, and leaves a little note at the end of every day to let me know how he was (and to praise his unending adorableness). She's totally reliable, and I seriously considered inviting her to my wedding even though we basically only communicate through those daily notes.
Her email is [email protected] (because she only walks one dog at a time, unless you have 2 and want them walked together.) I highly super-ultra recommend her.
  • I have two Maltese... do what I do.. teach them how to go on wee wee pads! Seriously though.. I live and work here so the guys are almost never left alone but this breed in particular are just so affectionate and connected to their humans that it is cruel to go to work and leave them at home alone for 10 hours. the rare ocassion when we need to be away for that llong we get a "baby sitter." yeah.. I am nuts.. but it was a long roll in to crazy. The guys are 8 and 9 years old. I love all dogs but if you are a toy breed person.. think maltese.

Sorry to hear that job fell through, but if something comes up and you need a place to keep your dog during the day, you can lock it in my bathroom. I also have a special exercise program for your pet, every day at 11a.m. and 2 p.m. and run into the bathroom and try to shoot it with a bb gun. Let me know.
  • I have bitten my tongue long enough. Frankly jonbot I find you obnoxious, annoying, not funny, rude and crude. your comments are unnecessary and many times insulting to many. it is obvious you have too much time on your hands...seriously, get a life and keep your stupid comments to yourself.
  • I share just me's opinion.
  • I agree and I wish the MOD would start moderating and delete these crude remarks

    I agree with this comment.
Every now and again someone can post something that someone else takes offense to even if there was no bad intention. But, in this case comments like these need to disappear from the thread they are posted on.
  • I agree with just me and the rest of the folks...enough is enough with this guy. some of his comments can be taken as threats and I think that's when lines are crossed. MOD: any thoughts/comments?

See.. I don't know if this is a "threat" to anyone or not but enough people have reacted to this last comment where it can be agreed that this poster's comment make it really unpleasant to visit the site and click on this "well meant" thread and see this comment.
