Steve K--It was particularly unnerving when during Mass Msgr. Sala lifted up the chalice and then did his throat-clearing routine. We always suspected he was hocking a loogie into the wine. Ahaaaaaa....just another beautiful memory from childhood. What did you mean when you said "ISOLATE US"?

The cab driver couldn't hear a thing, but it made it funnier since Carol thought he could. He had a blue tooth device on his ear and I told her he was calling it in that he found a CAVE WIFE for someone else. He had a small round hat on his head and a pretty long beard, lol. As far as the praying goes, I was faking a chant, he he.
When he missed the exit, Carol really got nervous and thought he was taking us all someplace. She said if that were the case, she would offer herself if he lets me & Mildred go, lol.
Going out to dinner tonight for my sister in law's birthday, Arlene, Bob's wife, somewhere on the island, Long that is, not SI. -

Yes, the house !!! Have to go to 86th Street to get some birthday presents for Arlene today. The party last night was pretty good. I had never been to El Caribe before. There were so many faces I haven't seen in a long time, firefighters and officers. I even saw some of the guys who trained us. WOW, that was 26 years ago !!!
