    The Republicans had their eight years and ruined almost every segment of our country, go take some time off now.

    Not only was a Republican ahead of the White House they also controlled significantly more seats in the House and the Senate. To say that the Republicans led by Bush were pushing for a thorough investigation of mortgage companies only to be stopped by the minority democrats is absurd.

    Wow, a bunch of out-of-context excerpts from an unspecified hearing 4 years ago, when the Republicans controlled both houses of congress. How do those wily democrats do it? To think, the liberals were secretly pulling the strings of our economy the whole time, while it only APPEARED that the Republicans were in control. Excellent work exposing the conspiracy!
