Rental Car Company?

Are there any rental car companies in Park Slope? We will normally zip car it, but for a long weekend the zip cars are way to expensive. Thanks.

  • We live in Windsor Terrace and go with Enterprise, which is out on Coney Island Avenue. There's also a location on 3rd Ave and 9th Street.
  • When I didn't have a car for a little bit and needed one, I did this:
Long Island Rail Road from Atlantic & Flatbush to Jamaica.
Air Train to JFK's rental car facilities.
Got a much better rate, and larger selection to get the right vehicle I needed.
  • There's a car rental on Union between 6th - 7th Avs. I've never tried it though.
  • Thanks everyone, I'll give these few a try. I always blown away by how expensive it is to rent a smelly beat up piece of crap!
  • I guess this market is overpriced but its nyc. I went to vegas last year and paid $15 a day.

also I found this new enterprise coupon code :ETC7HC
its gives 20% (dont think it works for airport locations).
I just made a reservation (in Bensonhurst it was $39 weekend day for economy, the park slope one was $51 a day with that code)

Note: the cars I get are usually nice. This time I did the standard class which costs me $45 a day. When I use this class I get a really sweet brand new car)
  • Hey, thanks for posting that coupon. Was in the same boat and it helps out tremendously.
  • I never rent in the city. I take the train out of town. There are Hertz and Avis next to the Metro North station on Satmford CT as well as close by in White Plains. Usually there is no charge to return the car to the city if you want but then why fight the traffic?
  • I use the Enterprise in Gowanus on 3rd Ave and 8th St. My brother goes to White Plains.
  • I like All-Car-Rent-a-Car in the basement of the Brooklyn Marriott. I find that it's relatively cheap, and the cars tend to be relatively new. I've also used the Avis on Atlantic Avenue near Court Street, and although the cars there tend to be brand new, the service is terrible.
