Go Palin, Go Sarah, get your game on....
It's going to be AWESOME having her in the White House when McCain dies.
Cross your fingers!!!

Unless you're a Palin supporter. In which case you're an idiot and shouldn't be anywhere near a ballot.
-
i was going to put a poll on this thread but decided against it
-
I was going to post without sarcasm, not capitalize the first letter of any sentence, and viciously offend anyone within arms reach.
Alas, I decided against it. -
ok, now that really wasn't necessary
-
This board isn't necessary but that hasn't stopped anyone.
Mods?
Now, that's called hitting a softball out of the park. Drunken Guest would be proud. He always got all worked up around election time (and at happy hour, and at last call). -
i didn't ask to be insulted, i asked people to vote. so feh.
-
I went ahead and just made this a global.
People! Register to vote if you haven't already!! -
Any idea on how to handle a change of address this close to the election?

I wrestled with this too and decided just to vote in my old district since I haven't changed over my state ID fully yet. But after the election, have to go to the DMV and fix all that. -

I moved before the primary, but since my polling place was the same and I hadn't changed my address yet, I just went as if I was still at old address.
Since I think your move is pretty local, I'd just go to your old polling place without pointing it out. But that's just me, I usually try to look for the easy way! -

Vote for whoever you want (it is still a free country after all). Personally I think it would be a real tragedy if McSame and Dick Palin get elected. But an even GREATER threat to our democracy is excessive cynicism and apathy on our part. If more people voted I believe all our elected officials would do a better job representing the people instead of the corrupt band of lobbyists and money bag donors. Get off the couch and vote in November!

Just registrar at your new address. -
I moved recently and received a card from the Board of Elections that my registration had been automatically forwarded to my new address. I didn't changed my address with the DMV yet, but I get my mail forwarded through the post office. Maybe that is how they got my new address?

Why vote? Bush and Cheney ain't a goin' nowhere. You'll see. Either a total economic meltdown now, or a terrorist attack between November and January, or both will occur and they will suspend the election results no matter who wins.
-
that's not a very convincing reason to not vote.
