Dead Body found in Box by the Park

Body was found directly in front of 206 Washington Park (my building), by Super. White woman (yet to be identified), chopped up, in large moving box.
Can't get any creepier.

I just saw this on the news. Crazy.

Eddie the sock man (the imaginary white bitch guy) has moved on, in fact I've heard he passed away.

Eddie was loud and scary but he was one of the sweetest people on earth. He managed his demons by walking up to 30 miles a day. In the middle of his scariest rants, I'd say "Eddie, you're scaring people today. You ok?" and he'd just stop yelling, modulate his voice and ask - sincerely - "Hello Miss B. You're lookin' pretty today. How's your husband and daughter?" and we'd talk a little.

I'm not saying our mentally ill neighbors - and there are a number of them in this neighborhood - ought to be out scaring us every day, but a little understanding can go a long way.

BTW, the Daily News says it's a man who's been stabbed. It doesn't say black or white or dismembered.

In response to the first reply that all this is weird-- unfortunately in ft greene it really used to be a common thing.. especially with the projects right here. What freaks me out now with the economy going as it has, and as it will, is the rise in crime in neighborhoods like ours.. scary.

im dying to hear more on this story-- i hope they find out who did it.

p.s. eddie the sockman was very sweet, and he spoke in this really old school jivey way- i bought some socks from him. and a friend of mine sat down with him and recorded a short interview with him-- he's kind of an amazing guy. his mind went to interesting places.

i wonder what the reason for dropping it in front of the park was. some specific supposed to see it maybe?
