police helicopter last night
Does anyone have any information about the police helicopter hovering above Lefferts Place between Grand and Classon at 3:45 this morning?

It was over Putnam Avenue at Irving. Burglar spotted in vcant/in renovation house on corner. They had a police dog and two police swat like vans there as well. Seemed a bit overkill. No arrest.

I was awakened by it and I was blocks away.Very annoying and loud.

well, the burglar woke me up twice, and then I had to chase him over the roofs....that's annoying

Hey I didn't realize you chased him over the roof. Knock next time you are going by. (For all who don't have him as a next door neighbor [which would be all of you] let me tell you that Kevin is a one man crime-stopper and about the best guy in the world.) I still thought it odd the level of response. From all the police vehicles I was sure it was a homicide suspect cornered in the house. Which is for sale btw. (Not by me!)
