They should make it a detention center for rude and unruly movie patrons.

Isn't is what the Armory is supposed to become?
Never heard anything about an indoor playspace for kids, I heard about basketball courts and such, but that was about it. -

Since it's apparently the 'in' thing to do to exaggeratedly spit on Circles' grave, allow me to jump on the bandwagon with all of the rest of you (despite the fact I and just about everyone I know think that it was a perfectly wonderful eatery up until about 2003-04 when the management changed).
"CIRCLES?? BLLLLECH!!" *shakes head around and makes spitting sounds*
And just to jump completely on the bandwagon:
"Dub Pies!! Dub Pies!! Dub Pies!! Dub Pies!!" *does backflip*
Can I be one of you now?

they should split the property into two or three business's . for one ,I think a bike shop that sells, repairs and rents would do well due to its proximity to the park. the other spaces could be an ice cream parlor and a bar.

Wow, saying "good riddance" qualifies as exaggeratedly spitting on Circles' grave? -
I think it's a personal thing for obamanut ,who was employed at Circles when it was an excellent restaurant and a fun bar and has a loyalty to Matty and Gerry who were owner and manager , who treated the staff as family .
If you weren't there it's hard to understand. -

God knows I would love to shout "Good riddance," especially over a public forum, every time the latest useless yuppie Park Slope business venture goes bust, but I realize that it represents someone else's hard work and investment, so I usually restrain myself from gloating.

I don't understand why I have to explain this to another adult, but whatever... -
Enough goddam coffee places already, sheesh! A laundromat!

there's a laundromat 2 blocks from there already on PPW, and another on 8th/13th
that space is begging for a good food spot - right next to subway and movies -
I would love a nice brewpub that also featured a good menu with specific beer/food pairings. Also, if they had live music, that would be awesome too. The restaurant is sort of set up for that with the front room separate from the dining room.
something like this place in Illinois...their chefs work with the brewmasters on menu items

that would be my dream. -

A read through my previous posts will demonstrate that I am happy to spread my "good riddances" across all manner of establishments, yuppie or otherwise.
